Company overview

Premium Medical Services Limited was, until 1995, a Medical Department of the Zambia State Insurance Corporation Limited(ZSIC). It was sold as Management Buy Out in 1995 and has since then been operating as a Private Limited Company. It is one of the rare success stories of the Privatisation Programme undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Zambia.

Quality Facilities & Service Delivery

To date, the company has grown in terms of Financial and Infrastructural Strength to ably provide Quality Medical Services to the Public. We have a well-equipped Laboratory, X-ray, Pharmacy, Wards, and the Maternity Service which operates 24 hours with four Resident doctors on site during working hours and one part time doctor after hours.

1Cardiology Physician

Our cardiologists can treat your heart conditions, including high blood pressure, peripheral vascular disease, chest pain, abnormal heart rhythms, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, aorta problems, and other heart-related issues.

2Pediatrics Clinic

Pediatrics (also spelled paediatrics) is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The care of paediatric patients is different to that of adults, as many drugs are processed differently in these two groups.

3COVID-19 Testing

Get tested for coronavirus (COVID-19). Mainly for people with symptoms, they're sent to a lab to be checked. About 1 in 3 people with COVID-19 do not have symptoms but can still infect others. You should do a rapid test to check if you have the virus.

4Otolaryngology Clinic

Our Ear, Nose & Throat department provides the highest medical level of diagnostic evaluation and treatment of a wide array of conditions such as head and neck diseases, snoring, sleep conditions, sinus conditions, allergies, voice and swallowing disorders.

5Underfive childcare

Access to health care for children aged below five years (under-five children) is a major public health and development issue. It reduces deaths in children under five years of age from pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria, malnutrition and other treatable causes.

6Antenatal & Postnetal

Pregnancy care consists of prenatal (before birth) and postpartum (after birth) healthcare for expectant mothers. It involves treatments and trainings to ensure a healthy prepregnancy, pregnancy, and labor and delivery for mom and baby.
